Start at Sweetwater

I designed email footers for a campaign idea called “Start at Sweetwater” during which the marketing team would push our audiences to search Sweetwater.com for products and knowledge before searching on Google as an effort to increase awareness around our product selection and our expert knowledge-base, inSync.

These footers, which replicated the Sweetwater.com search bar, were the beginning of the concept which would also be blown out into display and print ads focusing on the end result of using Sweetwater.com for research. Examples of situations included producing a Grammy-winning song in your bedroom, nailing the tone you’ve been searching for, or booking a cross-country tour.

Ultimately this marketing strategy became a low priority but the concepts of including an animated or working search bar in an email continue to be talked about as a traffic-driving feature.
